I say GG only because it's polite, because really it was a sloppy, sloppy game on both sides, we just happend to be sloppier. You know it's going to be a long day when you let the opening kickoff go almost for a TD, and then fumble the ball deep in your own territory on the next two possessions, and suddenly we were down by 17. But the ball seemed to be slathered with Vaseline as neither team seemed to be able to keep a handle on it. Alas, we couldn't make up those 17 points and continue our 2-game slide. All ACW teams with 4 wins at the halfway point, we have the leg up with our one tie.

Big come-from-behind win against San Diego. We struggled mightily with turnovers and penalties, plus a good Charger pass defense. But we pulled it together for two good late drives and we escape with the W.

This was a defensive slugfest. If you like defense, this game was for you. After a good first quarter where points were a little easier to come thanks to a short field we could not generate a first down the rest of the way. Offensively overall this game stunk. KC offense finished the game off with only 4 first downs, was 1 of 14 on third down. A horrendous performance. Credit the Denver D for keeping the rushing game completely bottled up at 2.33 yards a rush. However a turnover margin of +5 pretty much gave us the victory. We had a few fumble issues, but we managed to recover all ours, while snagging away 4 Denver fumbles and snagging a few interceptions as well for good measure. Several players on the KC D had an incredible game. Fuentes was credited with forcing and recovering 2 fumbles along with snagging an interception to go along with 2 sacks. Just an incredible game for a defender.
