I think that there's way too little in the way of skill and common sense for young players. Inexperience has far too much of an impact on performance right now.

- My young QBs almost always make the wrong read preferring to force it into coverage and missing the open WR on about 90% of my plays

- Return men and RBs seem to look for contact rather than running to nearby and obvious daylight.

- My defense rarely makes a tackle on first contact and it usually takes the 3rd tackler getting involved for a play to stop

- Defenses is routinely out of position and frankly, running around like a gaggle of idiots. When an opposing player cuts back it's almost if they react to magic. Or when you cover your face in front of a baby and he thinks that you've disappeared.

- Kicking, continues to be a disaster. 3 more missed XPs in my game not to mention a couple of missed short FGs.

Believe it or not, the probability for a 0-rated tackler to tackle a 100-rated break tackle player is still 95%. I don't know that I want to go much higher than that.

I'll look some more at the kickers, your kicker definitely shouldn't be missing extra points like that. I'll see if I can't push something to improve the kicker accuracy before the first regular season game.

For the QB decision making, if you're talking about Fortney his field of vision is very low, which is going to mean that he probably is going to lock onto his primary receiver and not see the other open players around him. If it's Perkins, he should be a bit more likely to throw to a better player. One thing to consider too is that if he's under pressure the throw could be a throw-away, at this time the play-by-play doesn't differentiate that.

On the issue of the cutback runners and kick returns, I agree that those are not where I want them to be and am still working on them.

Fortney has outplayed Perkins for the most part actually. I don't think pressure has played much of a role though unless it's not visually obvious to me or if the QB rolling out of the pocket to create space is part of that factor.

Take a look at my game and the tackling from my defense in general, the front 4 do a decent job and I should have specified that most of my criticism is directed towards the LBs and DBs.

I think their kicker missed an XP too if I'm not mistaken.

My kicker missed a 19-yard FG, as well.
