If you go to the trades page (Messages->Trades) and view the league trades you can see what exactly happened for each trade. That's the info I plan to publish into a forum whenever a trade is executed.
Through the past year we've gone from having this kind of thing next to impossible to do (but also severely restricting legitimate trades in the process) to where we are today (where the trade engine isn't nearly as restrictive); I think I would rather err on letting people feel like they can actually make trades than to be overly aggressive in blocking them. So much of the reason a trade is imbalanced is subjective, making it difficult if not impossible to write an acceptable AI rule engine to police them. I didn't want to restrict the # of items each side can offer in a trade, but I may have to just to help reduce the opportunity to take advantage of the system.
