Good game phinsfan,
Another AFC West divisonal game, another battle. The AFC West is continuing to prove its one of the toughest divisions to win in. 3 of the teams are now sitting at 2 and 2.
In our game against Oakland, the KC Offense just didn't get it done. On the first series, KC defense gets the stop, Oakland special teams makes a fantastic play on the punt downing it on seemingly the half yard line. KC offense goes out and on the first play gets tackled in the end zone for a safety. That about sums up the game, defense played well but offense was not playing at near high enough level to win this one. Credit to the Oakland defense they were part of the reason why our offense could not move the ball and score points.

As you mentioned that punt seemed to hit some velcro at the half yard line burying you guys deep, first time I'd seen that in a game.
As far as the rest of the game we really feel fortunate to come out with a win as your team picked us off 4 times. Usually that would spell disaster but our D rose to the occasion after those INT's. We seem to keep the running game in check this game, I made some game plan changes that I hope made some differences in the way our D had been playing against the run...time will tell.
QB Norris seems to be an interception machine this season for some reason. worst start of his career tossing 11 INT's to 8 TD's so far after 4 games; has us a bit concerned.
As Ouk mentioned this was another AFC West battle that we've come to expect, and we have another next against a tough SD squad.
