1.1 - Jacksonville takes CB Withrow. I thought for certain the top pick was going to be Coleman, giving Schweitzer someone to throw the ball to. I didn't think Withrow was going to go in the top 10...

True, but Jacksonville is really hurting on defense - look at their secondary roster. Withrow will be a starter from day one. First overall pick material? Maybe not, but Jacksonville's need for defense exceeds their need for offense. I wouldn't be surprised to see them take a LB in round 2 even if a good one is available.

The next few picks should be interesting to see what the AI does :-)

I'm looking forward to watching the draft this week and seeing what different strategies everyone takes. Good luck, everyone!

I think there will always be differing opinions :) I love that about the game.

When you have as many needs as Jacksonville, I think you take the best player you can get. They are decent on offense, but one or two players won't turn the defense around. So, in my opinion, you have to build up your strength. Get a great offense together.. try to play a game on defense where you just wait for your opponent to make mistakes, then use the super powerful offense to score a lot of points! If you are giving up 28 points a game and scoring 31, that should not be too bad :)

Hard to gauge the impact of talent, I'm not surprised by any pick... except the FB

Btw, I like that drafted players are removed from the Draft Class search page, as opposed to leaving them there like in the past.
