drop down menus

This may be by design but when I got to a drop down menu say free agents for example. I can select FA not problem. when I then filter for a position the site runs a bit as if loading then goes to the home screen. This also happened when I did a coach search and in game planning. When I'm in game planning it seem so go to the home page when I load a game plan, then I can go back to the drop down select game planning and my game plan choice is there.

Just seems that once I am in a screen then filter or load it would take me to the same page instead of back to the home page.

this description is probably clear as mud...lol

So, looking just at the free agent search (all the popup filters should behave the same way), when you click on the Free Agent Search menu item you're able to see all the free agents, when you click on the "edit filter" you're getting the popup window, you choose your position and then click "filter", and it takes you to the home page? Is that correct?

What browser/OS are you using? I want to see if I can replicate the issue.

That is absolutely correct. browser is Internet Explorer 10 and windows 7 home premium. I also added the web site and forum to my "allow pop up list".
Thanks

IE 10 ... interesting. I actually haven't tested IE 10 yet, but that surprises me. I'll play around with it and see if I can reproduce it.

lol, I thought you would ask. I went into IE under program files and found a text that said it is IE10. and Window 7 home premium

And now we're both editing our posts instead of responding to each other's messages, haha

Ok, I think I found the issue - it was only if you followed a certain order of steps, which made it tricky, but I did find it. See if you are experiencing what you're expecting now, and let me know if this occurs with any other popup form submission, because this bug could be elsewhere.

I went throught the "Search" menus (FA, player, coach) and all three worked for me when doing a filter search.

I tried other filters under the "My Team" menu and all seem to work except loading a game plan. Here is the steps that I

take if this helps.

1. mouse over "my team" menu
2. click on "gameplanning". gameplanning page comes up fine.
3. click on "load". Load Gameplan filter screen comes up.
4. I choose a gameplan to load from the drop down.
5. I click "load gameplan" button
6. the screen goes to loading with a "please wait". no problem there.
7. then the page loads but goes to the league home page, instead of loading the gameplan page.

I can then go back to the gameplanning page via the "my team" menu and the desired gameplan has loaded.

hope this helps
thank you for your efforts

Ok, this is an issue with Internet Explorer that I had forgotten about - I just made some changes to most of the popup forms that should fix it. Let me know if you have a better time now.

Also please keep me informed on anything that seems to not work in IE, it is of course the web developer's bane and the game should run fine on it but it's not at all unlikely that there are other IE issues.

Thanks!

It works great now, thanks for taking care of it.
As I was testing each with the filter to see if they all would load a thought came to mind. I was wondering if you had thought about putting the name of the loaded game plan on the screen somewhere? this way if a GM is using multiple game plans they can be assured they are looking at the game plan they desire to look at or edit. Just a thought not a big game changer for me.
thanks for your efforts
