I like the idea adamsneeka mentioned of OC's and DC's play a bigger role in game planning. Give the HC a bigger effect on things such as team and individual player morale, organization (how well players get familiar with plays), and practice(how well the team prepares for the next game and how well they do in camp along with players attributes of course. Maybe trainers down the line?

Give coaches a few new attributes themselves. Such as organization skills, clock management, morale, greed, intel, film room, and how well they make halftime adjustments. Maybe even how well they handle the press which would impact free agent signings and team morale after a loss.

This is on the UI side of things:

Sometimes I like to go through other teams roster to see who is injured for an upcoming game or who is on the last year of their contracts etc...

The only way I know how to do that now is to keep toggling back and forth to the standings page and clicking on the team.

If we had a drop down on our own team page that had all the other teams in we could rifle through the rosters easier. There is one place on the team page I wouldn't want the drop down which is right above the "abandon this team" button. That could be problematic. Where the team logo is or anywhere else on the page would be good.

Have a "Future Free Agents" page for players with 1 year left on their contracts.
