Version 0.4.1 RC 3

Thanks for the feedback, here are some fixes for this week:

* The issue with the zone coverage suddenly running across the field for no reason should be fixed. Please let me know if you see it this week!
* I revisited the pursuit/run-to-end-zone logic and did a minor rewrite with some parts of it. Basically the big player-cut-back issue should be fixed, and hopefully players will stop under-persuing.

I don't think pursuit changes matter unless tackling is powered up. If the pursuit changes work, we'll see defenders run to the ball carrier just to get shoved aside. If that happens, and logically it should, then we are at least back to playing Techmo and not Madden I guess.

We'll see if that's the case, I don't want to make changes to both at the same time just to see if it's the bad tackling or the pursuit that is the real issue here. If we still have too much then I'll continue to tweak the tackling itself.

This one is close, but something strange happens with the defender's pursuit angle on this play. The SS is M2M against the RB. The SS moves laterally across the field as the RB runs the swing route. As soon as the RB catches the ball, the SS has a pretty well defined pursuit angle (he's probably not moving as fast as the RB at this point, but he should have the distance to step up and make the tackle (it would be close though...maybe). Instead, the SS seems to not know what to do, then runs straight at the sideline behind the RB: https://mfn1.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/6272#1130900

Here's a better one. This is an RB pass all the way. The RB comes out of the backfield uncovered. The QB flips the ball out to him. The CB who is in M2M downfield with the CB peels off to come up and make the tackle. Instead of meeting the ball carrier head on, the CB runs to a previous spot where the RB was and then has to turn back and pursue again. It's like the CB was one or two frames behind the RB: https://mfn1.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/6272#1130914

Same thing as before where the QB throws to the RB out of the backfield and the CB runs to the wrong spot to make a tackle and then has to turn around: https://mfn1.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/6272#1130923

I noticed a few of those "under shots " by numerous defenders . ........it seems to be happening out of zone coverage assignments.

Something new was the "way to soon" cut back by the back out of the cheater toss left play where only one CB lines up on the most outside guy and gets sucked in everytime.

But nearly half the time running it ( by both teams, it happened less to me) the back takes the pitch on the toss left and immediately cuts back , right in to a defender for a loss. I would related this to something tied with how fast a player or combo of players, because my team has mobile Tackles, backs , DEs, and Linebackers.

I liked the amount dump offs by the QBS .....I also noticed more running attempts by them. The whole thing felt OK. Passing seemed tough and running was pretty easy. But, I related that to the poor angles of defenders NOT the amount of broken tackles. I liked that. Kick returns seemed to have opened up a bit.

Touching on pass rush ......my small DEs (and generally small defense) got torched in the run, but excelled at putting pressure on QB Summey. One DE lit up a very technical player with poor mobility and the other had an equally impressive game vs. a C- grade ex TE who played the other Tackle. What I liked was the ratio of pressure from the DTs to DEs . The pockets were slightly inverted till the speed rushers broke free. I also feel blitzers got there a bit too quick.
