I just pushed logic to prevent you from signing/renegotiating a player that results in you being over the cap once we reach the first preseason midweek stage. Please use with caution and let me know if you notice any issues with player signings.
Right now this code only exists here in the beta branch. I plan to push it into the 0.1.1 release before those leagues get to the regular season, but want to keep an eye on the contract signings in FA in my testing system a little bit longer.
