Read Option

I think a read option play would make for even more realistic gameplay. Today, you see players such as Cam Newton and especially Russell Wilson use their QB speed to their advantage.

I think that Quarterbacks that have say, 50 or more speed, should have an offensive play that is optional to select on the team, or just have a Read Option play that can be selected by any team.

The idea behind it could be the quarterback uses his field of vision attribute to read if the running back could have a positive gain or open lanes, and if the running back has a closed path, the quarterback then could rush opposite from where the running back would originally run.

your guy's thoughts?

I'm never opposed to additional features that will make the game more realistic.

As you can see from my choice of QBs across my leagues, I'd be a big fan of implementing this.

Cust18- http://cust18.myfootballnow.com/player/4301
Cust35- http://cust35.myfootballnow.com/player/1288

****.. I wouldn't mind calling it in a short yardage situation even with him (Intelligence, Strength, Vision, Avoid Fumble, Break Tackle.) - http://cust28.myfootballnow.com/team/10

This would also make things interesting, as it would allow coaches to use formation subs, to put a talented offensive player at QB and give a bit of a "Wild-cat" look. I've got a few leagues where I've got more than one good RB, and the thought of being able to sub-one into a formation at QB (Could easily control it my selecting a formation and have all the run plays be options, or reads, and sub the player at QB for that formation) while the other is playing RB, and have the chance of either of them carrying the ball on every play.

+1 for this suggestion. I think it'd be a great thing for the game.
