You have the cap room so why not? No one comes close to hitting the cap each year.
I'm actually toeing the line in cust 35 right now. I had a situation where if a player with a 10% chance of retiring did indeed retire I would not have been able to make it under cap.
Paul Peter is fairly old but to get a DE of his caliber should really help my defense even at the price I paid.

You have to manually change the base salary for years 2-6 to hit the numbers me and Atlanta did. The slider goes to the max for the current season but not for anything after that. The bonus stays the same throughout the contract.
I had offers the same as both of you but couldn't land either one, actually I believe this is like the 3rd season in a row that my Max offers are same but havn't been able to land anyone. Lol Nobody wants to play for NE lol
