New thread. What is our wish list for 0.4.3?

Mine

1) Better QB reads.
2) Better LB spacing.
3) Better zone coverage spacing (stop bunching people in the middle of the field so players get confused).
4) Strength should be used in pass blocking to "pancake" weaker defenders.
5) Strength should be used (more) in tackling and breaking tackles and not just the ability for the runner to push the pile.

In order of importance to me personally:

1) Make high discipline prevent penalties more.
2) Make high avoid fumble prevent fumbles more.
3) Better QB reads combined with better DB play - passing seems pretty balanced power-wise right now, but too dependent on WR making crazy catches and not enough on the QB hitting the open WR.
4) More defensive play variety, probably by making zone plays better. Fixing #3 might make this better too, because if you have better DB play, you may not have to depend on the trifecta of intense pressure, elite skill levels, and lucky to stop the pass.

1) Fix Counter/Pull Blocking
2) QB Pre-Snap Reads
3) Faster QB Post-Snap Decision Making / Improved Reads
4) QBs Should Make Decision to Scramble More Frequently (In Appropriate Situations)
5) Improved Coverage - Tight/Double Coverage Should Be Dangerous, and QB's Should Recognize This
6) Improved Zone Coverage - Esp VS Deep Throw and Run Stop
7) Increased Importance of Attributes Across the Board (Elite Players Should Play Elite)
8) Fix Returns, Both Blocking and Break Tackling

I meant to add this one too.

6) Make defenders smarter so they don't just stand around doing nothing when a receiver finishes a route and starts free running:: https://mfn1.myfootballnow.com/watch/6992#1263221

As an addendum to mine, I forgot to add that I really want to see 'hot reads' revisited for the next patch. As it is I actually actively gameplan around AVOIDING hot reads being triggered for my offense in most instances, as they're almost always dead plays except versus a handful of defensive plays (that may as well just be removed from the game at this point since those hot reads completely break them).

As an addendum to my addendum, upon clarification of how discipline works I'd like to add that mid-way through my list.

Discipline should trigger when a player is beaten in most instances. As of now, if a 100/100 LT was up against a Pop Warner tyke he'd hold just as frequently as if he were playing a 100/100 DE. OL should also fatigue far more slowly. OL never sub in the NFL except for health issues. And fatigue in general should have less of an impact on penalties.

This should have been hot fixed ages ago, but the "Hot Read" needs to be corrected or removed for a lot of plays. If this doesn't get hot fixed for 0.4.1 & 0.4.2 it needs to be a priority for 0.4.3.

This is part of the first update for 0.4.3 - it's in development, I keep sending it into testing and pulling it back because I'm getting poor results still.

This actually wasn't a hot read, I need to remove the indicator if the QB doesn't end up throwing the hot read pass. These are reverting back to the regular play, but the issue is the QB is still throwing to a blocking running back. The next beta patch addresses this.

Why is it reverting to the original play as opposed to completing the hot read, and why is the pass ALWAYS to the blocking back? I ran an entire gameplan specifically provoking hot reads to demonstrate this, and not ONCE did it go to a different receiver when a 'Hot Read' was triggered. However, if it fails to trigger the hot read, the QB seems to have no problem throwing to one of the standard routes, ala:

https://private75.myfootballnow.com/watch/1765#329602

This is at the start of the game, so my QB fails to hot read it and instead completes to the uncovered player for a TD. Later in the game, as the same defensive play kept get getting called, he started hot reading and it always went to the blocking back.
