Saturday, #4 Baltimore (loanBlood) will be taking on undefeated Miami (Legendruthless) in a highly-anticipated matchup. Miami has been dominating throughout the season, but Baltimore has shown the ability to be a tough competitor that has the potential to surprise everyone. It'll be interesting to see if Baltimore can pull off the upset and hand #1 Miami just enough cab fare to get home.

On Sunday, #2 Albuquerque, under new GM TheRookie, will be traveling to #1 Chicago (brxnivy) in a crucial matchup. Chicago has been undefeated at home in 2038, and Albuquerque will have to be atomic if they want to come out of the Windy City victorious. This game will be a hard-fought battle and it's shaping up to be a must-watch matchup.

We have arrived at the 2038 Crown Showdown! , the most highly-anticipated football game of the year! Today, we have the #1 seeded Miami (legendruthless) facing off against the National Conference’s #2 seeded Albuquerque Nukes in what should be a fierce battle for the Crown. Both teams have worked hard all season long to earn their spot in this game and now it all comes down to this one final showdown. Miami is well known for their powerful offense, while Albuquerque is known for their aggressive defense.

Miami, favored by 3 for the Crown, emerged victorious in the AC title game with a final score of 23-0 against Baltimore (loanBlood). Baltimore was dominated from start to finish by a solid defense that kept Baltimore scoreless throughout the game. Miami's offense was also on point, scoring 23 points. Miami played with precision and focus, executing their plays to perfection. Unable to match the intensity and skill displayed by Miami, Baltimore was sent home for some deep thinking about next season. It was a well-deserved win for the Miami team, and a great game to watch for the fans.

In the National Conference football game, Albuquerque came out on top with a final score of 17-6 at Chicago (brxnivy). The Nukes had a strong showing on both offense and defense, scoring 17 points and holding Chicago to only 6. Albuquerque executed with precision and focus, making it difficult for Chicago to keep up. It was a well-deserved win for the Nukes, and puts ABQ back in the Crown Showdown.

MIAMI WINS NFL CROWN SHOWDOWN 19-12

The NFL Crown Showdown took place Sunday, and it did not disappoint. The two sides put on a show for the fans around the globe, playing with heart and determination from start to finish.

The first quarter was a closely contested battle, with both teams exchanging blows after Miami (legendruthless) put up 7 on a 3 yard end zone run by WR Belle Z’Bub. However, as the game wore on, and settled into a feild goal battle, the Crown went into halftime 10-3 MIA.

In spite of taking the lead 12-10 with 9:30 remaining in the 3rd quarter, Albuquerque (TheRookie) just could not match Miami’s steady intensity throughout the game. Although they fought hard, in the end, the Nukes simply came up short. Miami tacked on another FG and brought home the Crown, 19-12.

This championship game will be remembered as a testament to the talent and drive of the players involved. Both teams gave it their all, but in the end, only one could come out on top. Fans are already looking forward to next year's competition, and the journey for the teams will continue as they strive to reach the top once again.

After Miami won the NFL Crown Showdown 19-12, Florida erupted with excitement and congratulations from fans, players, and the corporate entity of Miami Football, LLC, alike. cleared every single team in the NFL's dead cap.
Reset all AI run teams to original team names/actual RL NFL hex colors (becuase MFN cannot even do that right, ffs. OI!)
Will do again post LFA1 and pre mid week 1 sims if I am still admin.
I guess the biggest middle finger I could put up was to give every team the exact same break.

Those forum jerks are right, I'm absolutely the arsehole.

Anyway, if I am still admin at week 9 mid week, I will clear caps again.

Might be fun to run a league that clears cap on a very, very regular basis (efa1, draft rd1, lfa1, tc, pre mid1, regmid1).
That is certainly what I will do should the league not get a new admin or not fold.

Consider a no dead cap league to be the car wreck we all never wanted but are all willing to watch.
