Re: Noob Leagues to deter cheaters

I have no problems with someone accumulating as many picks as they want to, or can, as long as it is done legitimately without cheating.

I am in favor of the 30 day rule for owners new to MFN to give them an opportunity to hopefully learn a little about the game.

If there are ever any restrictions put on me about how many trades I can or can't make, a minimum or maximum number of picks I can have, or certain players I can't trade for whatever reason, I will leave MFN immediately.

It's a shame there are so many cheaters and JDB doesn't have the time to deal with them, but treating everyone as a cheater isn't the solution.

Yeah, it is a shame...especially when a guy spends 20 or 30 dollars on a custom team, and have this **** infest the league you're in. At that point you either **** it up and wait on JDB, or you abandon the team... and your money.

Remember, too, that you can over-accumulate draft picks and not be able to sustain the cap. Caps are getting tighter in MFN-1 and if you have a too many first round picks it's possible that you won't even be able to keep them all that season, and even less likely that you'll be able to keep them long-term ... which has the net positive effect of having higher value players in free agency.

The cap adjustment's are helping and are pretty interesting, but the effect is so sloooooow. I don't find it coincidental that DarkRogue's team assembled by collusion is still stacked and dominating MFN-1.

To keep New owners from being punished in case a team previously traded all the picks, then the new owner would receive complimentary untradeable picks until the traded picks are refilled.

Well..i took a team that had the 3rd overall pick in a draft..either CPU or previous owner selected a 77 rated LB when there was tons 95+ rated players (joined in round 2) I feel like it was previous owners doing as CPU chooses best available at the time right?..anyways point is..makes my job as a new owner harder to build because some dingbat wanted to draft some crappy LB then leave..before the round 2 pick. Frustrating.. idk if there is a fix..but really sucks for my future.

No.

The Ai rarely makes a good pick in the draft.
