Also, I have seen (and been a part of) some games where there are 9-10 INTs total for the game. It's no fun when you have both teams out there throwing picks all the time. Not realistic. 2-3 INTs would be more realistic per game, not 9-10...lol

The NFL single game record for A SINGLE PLAYER is 4 INT in a game.

Having 4-7 INTs per team (total 8+) might not be what we're used to seeing, but that doesn't make it entirely unrealistic.

.

The top 2 QB's in L-75 which is the league I believe Michael77 is talking about here.... have 31 INT's through 8 games. That is unrealistic.

Edit to add...they both have 100% accuracy

Thirty-one ints in half a season isn't just unrealistic, it's farcical. Something is seriously wrong with the engine.

FoV, Int, Arm Strength, Scrambling, Conditioning, & Position Exp ALL seem to factor more heavily into BOTH interceptions and completions in this version.

Wow. 8 picks and 10 OT by my team in the division playoffs. A QB that had throw 12 picks all year throws 8 in one game? Unreal. Where is MFN heading? It’s starting to get hard to continue with games like this. I need help.

0.4.4 and 0.4.5 are horrible versions of this game. For your QB to be able to have a day like that is pretty unbelievable. This game has run seriously off the rails these last two versions. When do we get a 0.4.6, and does it make the game fun again?

76% pass plays (41 out of 54).^^

Endless loop in this thread so far:

Passing all day into pass keyed dime double coverages -> throwing a bunch of interceptions -> complain about a "broken engine"...

Ok. Other team had 44. 41 passing by a very good QB isn’t hard to grasp. Should a team not play to their strength within reason. Guy.

Oh. And a good amount came when playing catch up in the 4th.....after already throwing 7 picks.

There is a difference between use a strength and overuse a strength. The latter leads to make the defense game planning a no brainer for the opponent.

Don't bother engaging, Mcarovil. You've played the game at a high level with an over-flowing trophy case of championships.

You've just got to dig in and figure out how to nuance it to the newest versions.

But, I get it. Someone whom has just jumped in doesn't have a frame of reference of what WAS the game vs. what it is now.

You're right. I don't have that frame of reference because I cannot remember the old engines three years ago. But one thing I know for sure. If the engines from 0.4.2 on and before allowed a successful passing game with 75, 80 or 85% passing plays per game then they wouldn't have been as good as the current engine.

It was a completely different game then and played nowhere to the high % passing attack where everything connected to little or no yardage with high gains being a relic.

Basically, in v4.2 you'd look at a 50-60% connection rate with high impact plays often hit and the game was to out-last the opponent. Have your defensive plays and strategies built up enough to bend but not break and win over the opponent by having the QB need to fire out more passes to score and thus tire by the end of the game.

Your guy preserved and you come out on top.

A lot more action, a lot more streaking touchdowns and excitement.
