agreed - short passes more risky than medium passes on my team statistics 12 games

Question about version 4.3. Going to make sure to leave notes again when I position change but I feel like a certain player's speed is stuck.

Weight is still moving up and down with position changes, right?

Yes, but remember weight movement is governed by frame, which is a hidden attribute. Frame has been around for multiple releases.

Yes...nods I probably lost track due to the frame.

Thanks, Setherick.

Take a look at the league player statistics for sacks in any league using 4.3. We used to have a number of DTs & LBs in the top 30, not any more from what I can see, its all DEs now. The 2 LB blitz plays out of the 43 and Nickel are not as good as they were. Ive got a couple of teams with what used to be very good DTs, now they will become trade bait. Am wondering how using LBs and SS's with good cover skills would work vs LBs that are more speed/pass rush capable. Am going to try that out with one of my teams.

In RL, last season in the NFL only one person listed as a DT was in the top 30 in sacks. However, there were a number of OLBs listed in the top 30. IN MFN-75, there are 3 DTs in the top 30 part way through the season. NO LBs, but one CB(!?). It would appear that blitzing LBs is no longer very productive against the pass.

The reason that LB sacks were so high in previous seasons was because the LG would teleport block the LDE on almost every play which left a giant hole for the WLB to blitz through. Most of the blitzes in the game blitz that exact gap, which compounds the problem.

Now, I typically only call blitzes when a team is likely to run, but I think an outside blitzing team can still do well in MFN with the right personnel. But you'll need LBs with 80+ SP, ST, and Pass Rush to make it work. Infinity is still generating a lot of sacks after all with his all Blitz 2 Pass Key defense: https://die-hard-fans.myfootballnow.com/team/4

Also, purely anecdotal, but Medium and Long passes seem to trigger wobbly passes LESS OF THE TIME when compared to Short passes.

Don't ask me. It doesn't make sense to me either. I also haven't done a full statistical breakdown to see if it's completely true, but even if it isn't, it's still better to throw longer routes in 0.4.3 since your WR is just going to stop or drop the ball regardless of the route distance.
I can vouch for this. Many of my plays before were short passing plays. But with this code I had to eliminate 75 percent of them. The short pass does not work anymore and the INT rate is higher with them now.

I agree bling. Horrible passing in this version.

On the other hand, you can do things like this: https://die-hard-fans.myfootballnow.com/box/1265
