Regarding the previous post about few leagues using standard rules, I offer the following:

For anyone on the platform who is looking for a league that requires players to play at the standard weight required by their usual position, and where WR's cannot be used at RB, and where WR's and RB's cannot be used at TE, check out the Elite Football League. See the various rules posted in the "sticky notes" on the message board for the league. I have been keeping the Dead Cap zeroed out for the unowned teams on a daily basis to keep them as competitive as possible. (Like many leagues, this league was almost always full until MFN became a subscription service. We are doing our level best to keep this league alive.)

I'm sorry that you had to deal with that ****, that was taking things way too far on his part, whoever 29whatshisname is.

That being said, you do seem to go out of your way to find something negative in everything people say. When it's not black and white, you create your own narrative and insert it into an attack on what people write like you did with Seth and like you've done with me a few times.

You read his post with a negative mindset and projected your feelings into how you interpreted what he typed. When I read his post, I didn't see it as a negative, rather than he's stating a concern held by some and offering what he feels is a solution to that concern.

You reap what you sow, and if you always go looking for the negative, I'm positive you will find it.

I guess what's the F wrong with me is that I will never engage a troll on the internet. IMO whomever is in charge should just ban them from the site so we can move on.

All of these should be theoretically easy to implement and test.

If the goal for the new user interface is to broaden the games appeal to people who play on their phone then he is failing badly!!

I play exclusively on my phone and have never played on PC. The new UI is very bad on my phone and almost unusable.

The cry for change has been happening for years and it's always centered around the actual game engine. I can't recall anyone crying for a new UI and that's the direction JDB has taken.

Setherick, I use to have custom rules in some of my leagues but it became work to monitor and maintain. I already spend way too much time here doing writeups I enjoy and no admin should have to fix an online game especially when it becomes labor & time entensive.

Frank, trade scores are directly tied to default player weights which most people no longer use so most leagues turn off the trade score for trades meter since it's based on bad player weights. I've discussed changing them with JDB and he said it's where he eventually wants the game to be!!!
