San Fran rebuilding season 1

1.4 DT Charles Shearin, Mesa State, +6/0

Throw a positional move from the DE position into the mix and the beast will be unleashed.

1.18 LT John Meadows, Wisconsin, +3/+1

Slow progress but progress all the same, Meadows looks to be the cornerstone of the O line for a long time to come.

1.32 WR Bobbi Acosta, St. Cloud State +9/+5

GM nearly lost his job over this pick; messing up his draft board order. Lucky mistake, Acosta looks to be a stud WR.

2.7 RG Anthony Devault, Nebraska, +4/+1

To pound the rock, you need a mauler. Look up mauler in the dictionary, you see Devault.

2.18 QB Clarence Summy, Auburn, +7/+2

In what looks like a bargain for his draft position, good learning of the playbook has shown Summy could well be a potential franchise QB.

2.32 LG Zachary Henry, Drake, 0/+2

Another key part of the O line revamp Henry shows his potential is there but really needs to hit the playbook.

3.24 FB John Dechant, North Central, +4/+4

Drafted to help the blocking in the run game, Dechant looks like he could offer far, far more than just that.

4.5 CB Joe Johnson, Washington State, +3/0

In a secondary weak on depth, Johnson has a good shot at securing a backup CB/ nickel back role.

5.4 WR Nicholas Hoffman, Iowa State, +3/-3

Looks to be very much on the roster bubble, has struggled with the playbook.

6.7 MLB Stephen Lopez, Other, +5/+0

Fighting against the odds, Lopez may well be on the way to securing a place on the roster to provide solid depth. Time will tell, but a good pre-season showing will help.

7.6 CB Alan Jones, Bethune Cookman, +5/+1

Beating predictions by even being drafted, Jones has shown he may well be a sleeper, getting a roster spot given the lack of a practise squad.

Nice TC SF. Very lucky with only having one player take a small decline.

Mine was better than usual, but still not very good.

1.25 RT - Hill +1
2.25 LB - Stark +2
4.25 RT - Gaddis +3
5.25 WR - Alvarez -7
6.25 CB - Walker +3
7.25 DE - West -1

1.2 WR William Spears +7/--5

With the 2nd pick in the draft Cinci tabbed Spears to be the number one option in the passing game. After training camp his hands have shone to not be quite as good as initially thought but Spears should still be a big time play maker to pair with Mitchel Reece who continued to improve as well.

1.22 G Michael Rodriquez +3/-7

Cinci took the Mississippi State guard here to solidify the RG spot after the retirement of their old starter. He took a solid dip from his projections in training camp but he may yet prove to be a solid starter on what should be one of the better offensive lines in the league.

1.26 WR Larry Lamberth +6/+1

Drafted out of Clemson Lamberth comes in with great speed, hands and route running, he's not quite on the level of the very best in the league but he should still show to be another big time play maker added to the cinci offense this draft.

2.1 CB Larry Benson +13/+4

Benson comes to cinci out of Notre Dame, he will be a welcome addition to a defense that is completely devoid of talent. With a nice boon in training camp he will be a starter from day one and his talents will be desperately needed if this defense is going to even be anywhere near league average.

3.2 CB Stanley Strauss +3/0

Cinci added another corner in round 3 to address their major issues in the secondary. He'll immediately step into the CB2 spot for them.

4.1 MLB Joe Greear +4/0

Greear will bring decent speed and athletic ability to the cinci defense. He struggles in zone coverage and a bit in run defense but he will be a decent enough tackler.

5.2 DT Nick Pruett +7/+2

Pruett will be a project, he was a college defensive end and will need to bulk up to play the tackle position at this level. His potential seemed to improve some during training camp and he may end up starting opening day for this team.

6.1 WLB Dwight Lee +3/0

Lee probably doesn't make a lot of rosters in this league, but due to lack of other talent at the position he'll probably stick around in Cinci this season and possibly a few beyond.

7.2 K Terrence Fisher +2/+3

This was simply a needs based pick, after improving some in training camp he's a lock to make the roster due to lack of competition at the position.

Being left short a draft pick in this draft and two short in next years draft by the former GM who was removed from office during last season, meant that each pick in this draft was important and getting the most from our picks who will be asked to step up almost immediately to replace the seven veteran retirements during the offseason, was critical.

1.11
Justin Owens RG
14/-2 (65/98)
Owens came out of Texas Christian with a lot of hype and Oakland were happy to pick him up at 11. Despite a few missteps during training camp Justin had a solid showing in his first preseason game and figures to be a future figurehead of a young and talented offensive line.

2.15 George Thomas LT
3/-4 (44/82)
A lot was expected from the Dartmouth product, and he looks to have a bright future however mistakes during his first preseason match and some technique issues during camp have shown that he still has some work to do in before the season begins.

5.10 Clarence Simoneaux LDE
2/-1 (26/66)
Picked to compete for the LDE spot behind 15 year veteran Stanley Peirce, Simonaeux has shown adequate technique but will need to do more to ensure he makes the 53. He shows great tackling skills and can rush the QB but hasn't shown good coverage skills outside of the blitz.

6.12 Carl White SLB
2/1 (22/58)
Coming out of a small program White has shown the explosive speed and ability to punish receivers that he was picked for however competing for a position behind entrenched veterans is never easy, after his first preseason game he has flashed enough talent to warrant further outings but his position is not guaranteed.

7.1 Ernesto Scott RDE
1/0 (30/53)
A fleet footed pure pass rusher and Oakland's Second Texas Christian player picked this draft, Scott has an uphill battle to make the 53 over his more rounded counterparts an average camp meant a limited showing in the first preseason game. Scott will need to take advantage of the few opportunities he gets to avoid the cut.

7.11 Ed Roark FB
11/-2 (34/61)
Roark showed improvement in his game during training camp although his upside seems somewhat more limited. He showed promise in his first game blocking well and putting up 18 yards on 5 carries but the fumble betrayed his talent although he may remain in the FB 2 Slot Roark does not figure to be a starter in his career, barring injuries to the first string.

Jsid even with the injuries my team found a way to give you the win 45-44 may be preseason but that still hurts
