That's how it's always been - any time the roster limit is enforced it's 60/53, and the limit is enforced at TC and any game stage (whether you have a game or not). What did change was the fact that you can have all 60 players active for preseason, but that was a while ago.

What team? It wouldn't be the same bug because at this point in the year the base salary is not prorated into your dead cap.


Cleveland had a lot of really good players cut. So I thought it was a bug. It appears it was too many players.
