Feared #50, hard hitting Linebacker Anthony Aldredge has retired after just 8 seasons playing for Carolina. Anthony was drafted in the 2nd round out of Nebraska-Oklahoma. He played the inside in Carolina's 3-4 defense. Anthony goes out with 371 regular season tackles, 6 sacks, 16 interceptions, 6 forced fumbles and 2 defensive TDs. Anthony led the Panther defense to top rankings in each of his years and goes home with a pair of Championship rings.

Future HOF'er William Blankenship retired after his 12th season in the league. William was drafted 1.22 out of Sacramento State and started at CB his rookie season. He paired with standout Bryan Jamison for one of the toughest CB tandems in the league. #30 leads Carolina all-time in total tackles (984), passed defended (206), interceptions (69) and defensive touchdowns (4). He leaves as the league All-time interception leader and passes defended.
William was also voted CB of the year and goes home with a pair of Championship rings.

GM Hellbringer was walking the halls around Bank of America Stadium. It is rumored he was mumbling "Did I just commit career suicide"... We will have to wait and see if he can turn the financials and roster back to it's early hayday when GM Wolfpack had an amazing career here.
