I sure it's in the forum somewhere but thought it would be quicker to ask with a new thread. I remember JDB mentioning starting new leagues in Aug. sometime.

1) When was the projected start date for a new league??
2) How will the new league begin?
3) Will it be a league wide draft where the GM's can pick their own players? Or at least several
rounds of picking your own players.

Click "Close league", then click "available teams". You will see two new leagues there.

so that is what "Close League" means?! I thought it was very strange that I had access to close the league. That should really be worded differently.

Haha, I never saw it that way. "Exit League" make more sense?

I actually think the.. league encapsulation is a little bit strange. There's a little bit of a can of worms in my thoughts, which is generally the case, but I will try to keep it reigned in a little bit. :)

First, I think you're going to quickly get to a point where you want a system-wide forum. The encapsulation of the forums does not provide for as rich of a user community, IMO.

But, on to the question at hand. To directly answer it, I would probably have a "more leagues" link or something like that. Or perhaps on the dropdown have each of your leagues listed, along with "join new league" or something. That would also allow you to do some sort of indicators, such as the new message indicator, about the state of the league. An indicator for a new game to watch, for a league where you need to scout your opponent, etc.

So I kinda got my answer. Seems both leagues are in late free agency. There is no selection of players, I would have liked that really. I'll check into it more later

I've gone back and forth about having an initial draft with the leagues, I'm just concerned because it would take a month or so once the league got filled up and I think people might lose interest especially after the 10th round or so. Maybe that's just because that'd be my perspective, I don't know, but I haven't had the confidence to have a league start with a 53-round draft.

How does Select League sound
