Not sure what tiebreaker I won to get the division, but I'm glad I did.

I think NO should have won the division based on the tie-breaker rules. Since they split their series and had the same season W-L record and same division record (5-1), it should have gone to the conference record, which NO had one more conference win. Unless I am missing something...I took the rules below straight from the NFL.com website...

TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION

If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined.

Two Clubs

Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.

Welp... Hard to call 4-12 a turnaround season, but... There it is.

And my "B" squad got more wins than my "A" squad.

SMDH.

I'm pretty happy to beat out Pitt for the division title, but that won't mean a whole lot if they beat me in our playoff game. This draft class also looks pretty nice for the positions I consider needs so that's nice as well.

Atlanta wins on the common games - New Orleans played Los Angeles and New York, Atlanta played Washington and Arizona in uncommon games. Arizona lost to Washington, but New Orleans won both of the uncommon games - which means New Orleans lost one more game against common opponents than Atlanta did.

Ya, I don't get this one...Atlanta lost to WAS and NO lost to Jax outside of their 1-1 series split, so wouldnt they have the same record in common games outside of that? Unless ATL beating Jax and NO losing to Jax was the tie breaker for common games since NO never played WAS?

They both played Jax - New Orleans beat LA and NY which Atlanta didn't play, Atlanta lost to WAS and beat AZ which New Orleans didn't play. All the other opponents were common.

(Their division played the AC South and NC North, their uncommon opponents came from the NC East and NC West)

Had my number all game. Meyer carried them with catch over after catch over from tighlty covered recievers . Granted my team threw that one away on a few occasions....not taking anything away from Dallas they controlled the clock all game.
