I see Punisher is missing the point, speed should not be the only thing that matters for a player. The stats that your WR put up today shows that speed is possibly the only attribute that matters. A guy with 6/8 in route running shouldn't be able to consistently create separation from a good man coverage CB, a guy with 38 catching shouldn't be able to consistently catch the ball in traffic, a guy with poor bump and run coverage avoidance shouldn't be able to get off the jam at the line of scrimmage.
If you really want to compare stats....
-10 catches on 17 targets = 58.82 Catch rate (and without looking at every play I don't know if this would be higher depending on bad throws or plays where the CB knocked the pass down)
This is Deandre Hopkins territory in terms of catch rate last season in the NFL.
-202 yards on 17 targets = 11.88 yard per target or 20.2 yards per catch. In 2014 only one WR surpassed that yards per target number... (DeSean Jackson), Calvin Johnson averaged 8.55 yards per target.
Granted this is one game, but these are numbers that some elite WRs have never put up. Your WR is at a skill level to where he should RARELY get free and catch a pass, instead of being able to do it regularly, even in single coverage his attributes should suggest that it would be rare for him to break free from coverage or catch the ball in traffic.
