Agree with this part...this 38/39 WR just torched my secondary to the tune of 10 rec for 202 yds.... https://mfn1.myfootballnow.com/player/10817. He caught everything thrown his way and is a 38/46 pass catching. That is frustrating to watch even though NJ won.
I am good if average receivers with good hands make those catches, but not a WR with these stats.

I'll put this as an item for the next gen of the game engine.

Well considering he is on my team now I am going to defend him.
he is my 2nd WR so that probably had something to do with his catches .
also he is my 2nd fastest WR so that also might have to do with his catches.

really tecra you made this comment sound like it was a close game where you had to sweat it out yet you won 59 - 13

Boxscore = https://mfn1.myfootballnow.com/box/view/5074

that comment sounds a little selfish to me

Punisher, with all due respect...the score had no bearing on my comment. You have a receiver who actually wouldn't make any roster in MFN1 except yours to this point. Any owner who got burned for 10-202 with a guy who should have MAYBE caught 2 passes that game would have spoken up or brought up the issue about ratings v. performance. I would expect that output for 80s-90s rated receivers, and would be just fine with it. Me being selfish would have been to complain after I lost. I am trying to be constructive by pointing out issues that affect gameplay.

It shouldnt matter if he was #1 on your WR chart. His ratings would imply he can't run routes (6), can't gain seperation (40 acceleration), isn't the brightest bulb on the tree with a 15 intelligence, and can't catch well. None of those attributes should yield a 10 catch game, with 8 in double coverage no less. If he was left completely uncovered for all 17 attempts I would expect he would drop 12-14 of them on attributes alone, without the affects of being covered added in.

The difference is that those guys weren't exactly scrubs either. Willie Anderson was a good player, it just so happens that passing in general wasn't as prominent in those days. If we corralated the attributes here to a real player, your WR would not even make it onto a teams practice squad, let alone see actual game time.

well if someone goes for SPEED like I do then he would be on someone's team.

now if someone was looking for other things not so much.

reason he probably wouldn't make any roster except mine is no one probably values speed like I do in MFN 1.

well I was saying that it was selfish in my eyes in that you won by so much 46 points YET you have to say something about a WR who catches 10 passes in the game.

Most people would be so glad to win by so much and not get so petty about little things here or there about what occurred in the game.

And that's why maybe I think it was selfish

wasn't saying you shouldn't bring something up that might affect game play of the game

My punter has better route running than this guy.

GG Buffalo

We traded int's at the end of the game which the last one by my QB didn't register in stats. I'll try to post it in the bugs thread if i can figure it out.

I was surprised with the game tied with little time left and us out of timeouts that you guys didn't just use up the clock up and kick the chip shot. Don't know if it was our end game strategy our the engines end game logic on this one. But at least the outcome ended like it should've so we don't have to listen to espn dwell on it all week. It was an exciting game to watch for sure.

GG Baltimore,

My team was geared to stop the run! Hopefully you get it going next game..

Glad Meyer actually had accuracy this game and a good start for my Cowboys. Looks like your team couldn't get it going for most of the game, but they gave a solid effort in a comeback in the forth.

Good luck the rest of the season

GG Philly. Started slow and not quite enough to push for the comeback.

GG TEN,

Excellent field position, a running back as slippery as a wet eel and QB Cannon making great throws at key times, paved the way for an easy TEN victory,

You look in good shape this season for a deep play-off run.

GG, Houston.

Honestly I wasn't expecting to win that one. Seemed like an 'in the trenches' kind of performance, where neither team could get off many punches. I lucked into that TD in the 3rd, and that was it.
