It would be nice to see a tackle for loss and a broken tackle stat for evaluating .
More movement while blockers are engaged combined with more shedding and re engaging again as run blocks are held too long and look stiff at times.
Make ball carry more valuable for more cut backs.. As well a tweak to break tackle and tackle. And have a players weight carry more value for increased dragging and pushing.
Same goes for durability and stamina . ....they should be tied to density or some version of the weight of a player . A dense guy, in general with some randomness included, should be more durable and have better leverage for strength but he would fatigue quicker and be a bit slower . And the opposite for the less dense guy.
I like the idea of ball carriers / pursuit players having to "go around" blockers or engaged players sometimes. An agile guy bouncing it outside on a stuffed run.
Some delineation between a successful "grinder" and "speed" back is a goal of most of the suggestions I offered, but I like all the ideas suggested!
