You all are right, weight needs to have a greater impact on the OL/DL play. I will put that on the list for the next release.

Until then, what should we do? Just sign underweight OL with lots of SP and blocking skills? Or will the new generated OL have enough impact to mitigate this exploit?

OL should be generating with speed now.

Right, but will it offset moving underweight players to positions in order to exploit weight differences?

If you move higher speed players with good blocking skills into OL positions (not just play them there out of position) their weight will migrate toward the mean, which will probably give you a better OL now and one that will survive through the next game engine update when weight becomes more important. As you draft new rookies they will have better speed attributes and so will make this less of an issue.

And so OL gen'd with the old code will just need to be taken out to pasture and shot?

More or less. It seems ridiculous to have to wait several months to rebuild an OL because of a problem in the code. A problem that could be mitigated by a conversion that ups the speed of all existing OL until physical weight is factored in. But that's what we're hearing.

Well, I guess I know where all of my draft picks are going. I really feel this is a slap in the face to everyone that has worked hard to figure out the mechanics of this game and doesn't rely just on exploits.

if the offensive lineman become faster in the future...
...then will teams convert them to powerful running backs
or fullbacks

Fullback maybe, but they'll never have the ball carry to be effective as RBs and their weight will make them incredibly slow.

why would they be incredibly slow
if there speed is being increased ?
....maybe to 100 speed

Oh, misread your previous statement. You'd need to play them at RB for years to get their weight down, but they still won't have Carry, Avoid Fumble, or Break Tackle that a RB would need to be successful.

check out p-75
...jeffery bryant...LT..denver
...look at his ball carrying,fumble,etc
..Denver would probably convert
him to RB if his speed was 100 or 90 or...
..there are many other examples out there

You mean the 250 pound former FB? That's part of the issue that we're complaining about throughout this thread. I don't have a problem moving him back to RB or FB. What I have a problem with is all of the 250 pound FBs playing on the OL right now.

ok...just ignore the future problem
that will be created....
