The specific issue I remember was in WRs, I've easily got the best receiver corps in this league.

I manage to keep this group of WRs happy

https://fantasy-league.myfootballnow.com/team/29

If I was Victor or William, I'd be happy just to be on the roster with those other guys ... :)

The crazy thing is Victor is a 95 speed WR with 100 pass catch, route running and B&R but he only rates in the 80s because his courage is 27 and acceleration is 17. He is a dominant WR when used in the right way.

My guy that asked to be traded was a pure receiver ... and had similar attributes to three other better receivers on my team. He was good, just not good enough to get the snaps he wanted in that situation. I've kept a couple of lower talent guys who see a lot of action in specialty roles, not as pure receivers, so hopefully I won't see that happen again.

The suggestion from JDB is to play probables, but there is a huge range in probables. So, ... my suggestion would be to create another category ... anything above 67% rated as an 'Expected' or 'Booboo' injury.

I'm still unlikely to do a practice squad, I still hold that the added confusion and work isn't going to be worth the minimal gain. On the other hand, I do see an advantage of reducing the opinion hit based on the skill of the player, so only really good players are difficult to re-sign immediately, but a 60-rate player will gladly take his job back if offered.

So, all this aside, do you not see an advantage to reducing the abundance of injuries that are presently negatively affecting 045?
You said yourself that the reason injuries were up could be because of longer drives in this code causing a bigger drain on fatigue....ok. Adjust the fatigue settings in the code like you obviously have for the QB's. QB's rarely if ever get injured.
You changed those settings for the QB's in order to stop the 2 QB systems. (And started the "backup QB comes in cold off the bench")...which is a joke in my opinion, and another example of mfn being far from real nfl football.

So, change the fatigue settings for all the players for this code to account for longer drives.
I don't mean a cookie cutter change...some positions are more prone to injuries, but turn them down a tick or 2, or a half a tick, or whatever it takes to get injuries under control.
It doesn't have to be drastic, little tweaks are fine.

I don't want injuries to go away, but I do want them to go down. Ive turned my fatigue settings up and down anywhere from 25 to 55 and nothing seems to make any difference.

Like others have said I loved this game before 044 and 045 and fully supported its development and backed you(JDB) in the forums and with my credit card.
I'm not a quitter and I'm not looking for an excuse to blow this joint, BUT...

I have my limitations and I no longer support the direction this game is headed.
So, I'm gonna put on my customer hat and ask you(JDB) is this the direction we're stayin on?
Where injuries, penalties, and sim settings rule the games in an effort to invoke parity, instead of dedicated owners who put in the time and effort to build great teams?
Are you going to address the injury increase or not? You've been vague in your posts and seem indifferent. Inquiring minds want to know...
And I'm trying to find some reasons to stick around here for another 4 and a half years.

What about a compromise?

Keep injuries as is

Keep players opinions as is

No practice squad

Increase roster size to 55 or 56

This mitigates some of the issues with injury management while substituting for a practice squad that isnt worth the time or effort. In the end, this just allows everyone to keep more borderline draft picks and add low end depth to the roster.

I should be able to put this guy on IR with a leg at 4% but I can't. We are at midweek 15 so I head into the playoffs down a RB with no hope of him playing.

100% Injured reserve rules need to be changed.

If an injury takes the player past week 16 still hurt....he should be eligible for IR.

In Raidergregs situation, he has to cut somebody to sign a replacement, how is that fair?

SARCASM POST:

Might as well play him to get the other 4% knocked off to get the "OUT" designation ..
