Yes, Miami made all the mistakes today, all of them. Penalties have been going against us for a while, so it was nice to have the refs on our side, for once. That 3rd and 2 stop was huge but, then again, what I was wondering is how you could be raping us on every run before that, all day long! The difference might have been the RB: Lollis got the carry and he only averaged under 4 yards a carry for the day. I was hoping our CB blitzes would lead to some big plays against the run, but nope. Either they didn't work or we never had the right call in.

On my side, I was pretty upset at three things: a missed FG and two idiotic 3rd down calls, one of which shouldn't even be in the playbook, that stalled two drives. If not for that, we might have been able to keep up, as both our defenses were pretty useless today.

We're even for AUFL now btw...

I'm pretty sure there's an anti-Miami bias in this league, I think Jon believe that every Marino must die and that everyone in aqua and orange is named Dan.

Congrats on taking the first championship FF, but you're wearing my ring ;)

Oh, you'll have to take it from my dead... roster!

First of all I want to thank my cat, Cookies, my dog, Fubbles, my grandma for those fun times, my parents for getting together and doing the whole family thing for a while, all the girls who have spurned me for giving me the geek time I needed, my spiritual guides, my animals of power, and my bosses for paying the electricity bill. Thanks all, it was a grand achievement, and it's for all of you!

Actually nero, I was more afraid of your curse than anything else. We were leading 31-9 or something in the 4th and I still didn't feel confident. And rightly so, as Tampa pulled within a score and had plenty of time to do some damage.

As far as the engine, I think the part that needs the most work, apart from reigning in outside runs, is those annoying passes into tight coverage that always seem to be completed. Looks like most incompletions still come from drops and misfires. If we could exchange those unforced drops for "drops" while in coverage (aka defended passes), I'd be very happy.

GG shirty, and congrats on a great season
