Here’s one that worked. Bringing 6 with a run key and the QB gets a 35 yarder in the air. Vs a 60 speed technical cb who gets lost during the throw after apparently winning to prior rolls. The technical FS goes way over to help the WR2 which leaves a huge gap in the middle of the field. Again, look off?

But then that’s a blown coverage by the FS and the cb getting lost makes it a broken play? And why not put some air under that pass..... have the FS stay more towards the middle , even if he is looked off a bit, and let it be a foot race to the 50yard pass in the air.

This is what the game should do , but this is a tighter formation. Spread it out a bit, sets with less potential pass blockers, and the sacks skyrocket.

Look at the combo it took to hit, though:

Offensive Play: I Formation Normal PA Streaks
Defensive Play: 46 Normal Strong Blitz - Run Key

Run key and a blitz.

AI ran teams are bring written more and more to throw endless Man OLB Flat Zone X-Chops when more of the above should happen to them. Why protect CPU teams? Let 'em get hit up for our enjoyment.

Again, good call good results. But how the players reacted is the point. Say that 100 zone FS drops straight back( is not looked off or whatever) could he make a play on that deep ball. He definitely would have a better chance after the catch . It seems the deep middle zones prevent attempts at long *****. Throw a blitz with man and those one deeps fall apart.

The FB stayed into block which left 3 options all who were downfield. I think what happens 10 times here. Does the QBs throw it to the blocking FB 5 out of 10 times and only once to the wr1 or wr2?

The slightly more technical cb gave up a lot ground when the ball was in the air It is almost if tracking ***** in the air is tied to heavily pass catching ... not cover skill. If the CB didn’t loose the ball the QB would have to launch it 50 yards to let the wr get under it but past the FS.

Still, I would be ok with him rocketing it in there like he did. 35 air yards would give a shot at an outside shoulder pass under the FS too.

The two defenders covering the wr1 quickly peel off their cover assignment and jump this route bad. Our knockdowns and interceptions are high because of this. Same for this yards after the catch.

Like the prior play if defenders acted more realistic passing would be even harder. Say wrs got down field and QBs threw it the passing numbers would need to be culled these ways at sometime.

I believe it's a byproduct of the way the code has been written. To eliminate the over the top gainers everything has been filtered to and through the underneath route. Those two defenders broke off and made a bee-line for the ball carrier. It's as if all reactions are written for immediate behavior to funnel to the outlet. Not much unlike the swooping and sweeping field length, diagonal cut-offs to halt touchdowns between the 0-10 Yard Line which got installed 1-2 years ago.

These plays have been around since the 0.3.x days. They are actually less frequent now than they were in the past.

This analysis misses the most obvious point still. The 75 SP, 80 AC WR travels 12 yards in the 5 seconds before the QB throws the ball. And then travels 15 yards (!!!) in 1 second (!!!) while the ball is in the air.

In the first 5 seconds, the WR stutters twice (why?!?) with the slow DB playing off (more why?!?).

If the DB is going to play that far off, a WR running a go route is going to accelerate to top speed immediately and make the DB chase.

Here’s another that worked. 35 air yards...... A 73 spd 243 pound TE out runs 68 speed WLBer. Here it’s like ball carry didn’t have a larger effect of slowing the ball carrier.

again wrs can’t get down field but the SS in the deep half isn’t the best but look at his play on the ball....pretty bad. Turns a 35 yarder into a 70 yarder.

The weak side slot has 78 speed but better route and bump than the faster defender. Even without press the wr seems to be heavily slowed down for no apparent reason.

a WR cannot make a play in this code.

this guy:
https://victory.myfootballnow.com/player/220

got 7 targets (4 catches) in 4 games, nearly all targets go to the RBs
And I did use plays that have worked statistically (on yards per play) in MFN1 or Victory

People will run away, if this code is actually rolled out
