I let being in a rush to put together a top roster and compete get the best of me. No excuses, online game or not it was unfair to the other people playing this game. If jd wishes to ban me then so be it. I will release the players I acquired wrongly for the teams that I did so.

Thank you for at least coming clean to everyone and not maintaining the lie.

Thank you for coming clean. I have locked the alternate users. For the users in the other leagues please let me know if DarkRogue does not follow through with his promise.

I will take a hardline stance on cheating, but also will have mercy on someone who owns up to it. But a second occurrence will result in a permanent ban.

I'm not sure he has completely come clean.

What about changing players' positions like DB to OL? What about having players play out of position, e.g., regularly lining up a P or K as a running back? These appear to be additional strategies employed by DarkRogue on many of his teams - most of which resulted in his teams getting a premium pick in the draft. I spot checked some of his teams and observed this by viewing his transactions (position changes) and individual stats.

Another stat to consider: He plays in about 30 leagues and has an overall winning percentage of less than 10%.

I can appreciate that some people have more time than others to play the game and it appears that many participate in more than one league. But surely there is a limit to how much time can be devoted to the game taking into consideration RL. Perhaps JDB should consider placing a max on how many leagues in which one person can play at a time simply for the sake of maintaining quality play.

I am probably going to change the ability to move a player to just any other position to prevent that kind of gaming of the system. (As a side-note, if you have players currently in bad positions once this is deployed you won't be able to switch them back!) I am also working on some logic where players will become unhappy and will not stay with an owner who does not use them correctly, to help mitigate the success of this type of action.

I'd like to see something done about the trades made in MFN-31 where DarkRouge traded with himself twice using bpirate & edgemaverick469 to acquire draft picks that have led his Atlanta team to a 9-0 start. There is a web of trades that I don't have the energy to list in this post. He came clean in a few, but hasn't mentioned any wrong doing in this league. If he's truly going to drop the players he acquired wrongly, he's got some work to do in this league.

He hasn't come clean. If he's in 30 leagues he's cheated in more than 4.

That makes no sense. By your logic it would be ok to have a league with half the teams owned by cheaters because the rest of the owners would know they are cheats.

If cheaters aren't banned that will encourage more cheaters to play this game.

People who cheat usually cheat for one reason and one reason only. To get top draft picks! If you take away top draft picks(1st 2nd and maybe even a 3rd) I doubt they continue to cheat because what would be the point! This is the logic behind my thought process. If I created a game I would actually find it somewhat funny that someone thought my game is important enough to cheat in.

Does this mean we will no longer be able to switch a player from like LG to LT or WR to HB and such. A lot of times i will sign a FA or draft players and change their positions and I have never done it to manipulate the game or to try and lose.
