It's hard to tell after only one game but these are the observations I have after beating the f&%&"(! Jets, which is a double bonus since he's my brother.
This game felt a lot like the last versions of the engine in the test league but looking at the QB stats it makes more sense, my QB had a good game and by NFL standards his stat line looked like a good game. The Jets QB had a mediocre game and his stat line reflected that accurately as well. By way of comparison the passing game looked a lot easier (even too easy) this time around but considering it was almost all short passes over the middle with 3-4 options in that space the results are pretty much what you'd expect based on play calling and the talent on the field.
The running games seemed to have suffered but my RB is a lock to break a couple each game and he did which gave him a nice high YPC.
Sacks seem to be back as well which is a nice plus, not to the hyper inflated levels of the test league but a reasonable expected amount for a single game.
I'm going to try and watch another couple of games but I think this was an important step forward.
