A qb ain't going to stop teams passing on you. I'd rather draft D and have a serviceable qb

So glad I traded up. I was able to get my QB of the Futue with a mid 1st! Very excited for what ATL holds in store for the upcoming seasons.

Cant pass up this QB either, chances of me being in position to grab a young QB with this talent again is slim

People didn't prepare for the draft that well or they didn't think the qb's would still be on the board....Crazy to get this type of talent this late in the draft

Or as in my case felt better value drafting an excellent CB. Now got two good CBs, a key part of the defence.

I could have grabbed one of those QBs, sure but how is that going to benefit me with holes all over the defence?

Everyone has different needs. I don't need a QB this year, so obviously I wouldn't use a #1 on a QB...so others filled what they though their needs were. This draft is deeper in talent than most of the drafts in recent years.
