In VCR'S case, he would either have a lineman on the practice squad or he would be scouring 31 teams practice squad for a viable candidate.

It would add another layer of strategy and roster management to the game. Do you put someone on the practice squad and expose him to be signed by someone else or do you keep him on the 53 man roster?

Suffered these injuries in preseason game 1.

This team had injury problems last season, but with different players. I was protecting them, playing other people (basically flipped my RB depth chart upside down, and put last year's injured OL at the bottom). Now this.

I was close to rage quitting this morning but I'm not going out like that. Most likely, I'll just keep this Phil Collins attitude (I Don't Care Anymore) and let my seasons run out.

This game used to be fun but it's like a 2nd job with no pay, all the time I spend scouring **** just to field a healthy team.

If it's no fun, stop playing?

I wouldn't play if I didn't have the competitive division and league that I have. If I didn't sometimes feel royally screwed by the game ("THIS TEAM WILL BE SB CONTENDERS THIS SEASON!!!" -- enter injuries, they finish 7-9).

It has to happen or the game simply isn't fun. If I wanted to play cartoon eggball, I'd buy Madden.

So your suggestion is to just up and quit my 12 teams? That doesn't help anything and ends up hurting the various LA's of my leagues.

Basically I'm just getting my frustrations out, but if I do quit, it will be at each team's end of season, my name is not Richard Noggin.

I don't mind some injuries, my complaint is the cluster injuries. 4 OL in 1 game with serious injuries. 4!!! This isn't realism at work, it's BS. This isn't a one off either, cluster injuries are a real problem.

It was also Preseason Game 1, so there was no "fatigue" coming into the game.

I've got an idea!! Lamba, why don't you quit trolling people who voice their displeasure with parts of this game. Ever think that it might just be the way they vent. You know? The way they let their frustration out.
Most of these players that you "throw your two cents" at have been here a helluva lot longer than you and probably couldn't care less about what you have to say about it.

There is a low amount of conditioning going into Preseason Game 1, which is a primary factor in injuries. You need to gradually get your players more playing time through the preseason to build their conditioning, and be sure to have 60 active players (unless your cap doesn't allow it).

You may have done that and still had the injuries, but in general if you go through preseason with that strategy you will avoid most injuries.

Sorry about the injuries, Greg. Preseason #1 as a starting point for the season and getting zapped with those injuries really stinks. You got to heal 'em back up for the regular season and then hope the longer length ones play to their same abilities + condition concerns while getting them up to speed. You fell into the cluster cycle on both sides in the trenches. :(

Greg's savvy and probably has starters set to play a half but I could see newbies or less experienced GMs burning out their starters with a full length game setting which would net the results above.

7 pages of people who are concerned with the growing amount of injuries in this sim and you pick the last one to reply to and this is the best you can do???
I'm not buying it.
People raised **** about punt returns being out of hand and you nerfed those...
People raised **** about too many sacks and you nerfed those...
People raised **** about QB's getting too many yds passing and passing % being too high, and you nerfed those...
So now people are raising **** about too many injuries and all you got is...

Injuries are too **** high... turn em DOWN.

Funny we dont hear from the realism police on this.....you know why????

Because NFL teams have 90 players on the roster during preseason.

Lamba has played 3 seasons in 1 league making the playoffs in season 1 then winning back to back titles.

So this whole idea that he has experienced some level of frustration due to.injury resulting in his season being derailed is nonsense.

He has clearly mastered this game in just 3 seasons in 1 league and looks down on anyone that complains because it's so simple to him.

Nevermind the 100s of seasons you have played or multiple versions and patches made to the game that you have had to adjust to.

Now we just need Punisher to post a link and Ray to convince us of the realism
