I would love for QBs to use their scrambling ability (maybe coupled with FOV?) to passively check if they have a free lane to scramble in if their WR options aren't great (with an adjustment for situation... obviously you don't want them scrambling in a situation where the clock matters, etc).

Bad safety play : outside run, the safeties move laterally and don't attack the LOS.

Is this a diving tackle ?

There should have been one on this run.

For what it's worth:

2032 Season - Green Bay
0 non-blitz plays called the entire season.
Lost 1st game (forgot season was starting and still had pre-season lineup, etc in place)
Won 14 consecutive games.
Lost final game (many players benched for rest/recovery)

Bottom line, there still does not seem to be any downside to running an all-blitz defense.

Your team is one of the best in the league and that's why you won most your games. It wasent because of an all out blitz defense. You had 13th overall defense last season and 12th overall this year. That's average !

wins and losses aren't the most important part of the argument. Breaking down stats is the way you evaluate this situation.

You went from 12th in rush defense to 19th.

My argument is that calling nothing but blitz plays should prevent me from winning, not that the blitzing is why I'm winning.

It's not dominating even though your players are solid accrossed the board on defense you still ended up with average numbers. I'm saying with a team as good as yours you could probably call anything and still have lots of wins.

your offense is more of a reason you dident lose. You might have lost more if you dident average 35 points a game.

Our game week one is a good example The blitz being beaten. From the looks of it your starters played and the blitz gave up 21 points on hot routes alone.

To test this the right way you need to test it with more of an average team. If you did that you might see a 25 th ranked defense.

I think I'm not doing a good job of expressing what I'm trying to say.

In my opinion, you should not be able to win a game (definitely not 14 or 15 games) by calling 100% blitz plays, regardless of the caliber of your roster. That type of play calling needs to result in losses.

Also, I think I have a pretty mediocre roster.

"you should not be able to win a game" = not true
"(definitely not 14 or 15 games)" = could be true
"by calling 100% blitz plays",

I think your winning your games here with your offense. 2nd in the league in yds from the line of scrimmage with 521.4 per game. Which is unrealistic. The top 3 teams in total yds have the 3 best records in the league. And the ypg are all unrealistic as compared to the NFL.

Our top 3: Baltimore(14-2) 547.2 ypg, Green Bay(14-2) 521.4 ypg and Tennessee(13-1) 493.4 ypg.

NFL's top 3: New Orleans(7-9) 426.0 ypg, Atlanta(11-5) 415.8 ypg and Washington(8-7-1) 403.4 ypg.
Other teams: New England(14-2) 4th @ 386.3 ypg, Green Bay(10-6) 8th @ 368.8 ypg and Dallas(13-3) 5th @ 376.7 ypg.

Offenses are overpowering defenses here not the other way around. It's closer to college football than the NFL.

Now lets look at defenses here:
Baltimore still reigns supreme only giving up 293.8 ypg which is pretty close to the NFL's top team. Here it's Baltimore(14-2) 293.8 ypg, Cincinnati(12-4) 296.4 ypg and New York Giants(11-5) 325.4 ypg.

NFL on Defense:
Houston(9-7) 301.3 ypg, Arizona(7-8-1) 305.2 ypg and Minnesota(8-8) 314.9 ypg.
Others: Patriots(14-2) 8th @ 326.4 ypg, Green Bay(10-6) 22nd @ 363.9 ypg and Dallas(13-3) 14th @ 343.9 ypg

Those da facts...........use em how you will.
