Yes, that drop on short passes should be removed. It's easy to game plan for situations where you want the QB to throw the ball X-number of yards down the field. (I mean you posted some of the rules I use. ;))

Most of the time, it's better to take whatever the defense gives you.

Also, knowing that the QB is going to check down to any WR running a short route opens up a lot of options in the passing game.

The only addendum I would make to the last post is that QBs should look at receivers that can make first downs on third downs before taking the open short route. If the open short route is all that is there, fine. But otherwise, QBs on third down need to find the marker.

OL play still really bad. Sacks nonstop. Was there a change to how QB's play based off of their endurance or something? QB's seem to turn to garbage after the 3rd quarter.

I think that the qb is tired but so is everybody . Fatigue is linearly tied to weight and the big guys have been playing tired this whole season . I don't think any change was made but I wish fatigue was changed across-the-board .

In fact, almost every check down pass to my RB went "high". Why?

And the wobbly ball bug is back.

It's not worth my time to watch any more film. I'm getting tired of bad commits and bad reversions.

Crappy sack/safety where the QB should have easily thrown it away. Saw plenty of sacks where my OL didnt block at all, just 5 DL running at the QB.

There are literally 3 changes between this sim and week 16: Fixing the bug where the QB would throw the ball away too immediately, fixing RB routes in the flat (that was what all the throwing into the middle of the line was about), and adjusting the timing on curl routes. I'm going back to the curl route setting previously, I was wanting to see if that was part of the reason for the quick throws so that may be back. I'm going to push this for the wild card games, but honestly there was nothing that touched pass blocking or QB logic (except for the fast throwaway).

Something definitely happened between the time I posted that and the garbage game my QB had last night. Watch the few clips that I posted. Every throw was like that. Every. Single. Throw.

There were other games that ended up looking like mine, but the point is, I ran the same game plan that was completing 70% by throwing a lot of passes to RBs. Last night, QB threw a lot of passes to the RB and missed almost every throw.

Something broke.

I'm also going to remove some of the color commentary, I think it's causing more confusion than it is being helpful.
