It's a good game. You are hearing a lot of people griping because stuff that used to work doesn't now. So there's an adjustment period happening. The big mistake would be to judge the game before people have time to adjust. I actually think 4.3 was okay after you finally realized that covering that 86 speed TE with your 55 speed SAM LB was going to result in your extra point defense team getting lots of work. Be patient and give the bossman feedback and it will get even better..

I think I'm done. This game is too messed up. Here's a play from my last game where I lose a TD when the receiver is running free and HE STOPS RUNNING: https://badcompany.myfootballnow.com/watch/872#145073

But what's reall making me mad is the pyschic powers of Defensive Coordinators which kick-in sometime in the second half. Running on 1st down? They're run-keying. Passing on 1st down from the same formation? They're pass-keying. Runinng om 2nd and 10? They're run keying. Ignoring one of your Rules? Yeah, got that covered too.

I think the db made a diving tackle. It's rough to think that FS caught him from behind , but there was an angle. Still, it seemed the wr was tired. Really off ball players should fatigue slightly slower. I mean your wr doesn't even touch the ball that often, but he is averaging 50 snaps per game.

The adjustmemts have been made. Owners have figured out what works and what doesnt in 4.5. Ive won multiple championships under 4.5 but still yes Im complaining because the only offense that works is incredibly boring and the deep passing game is all but gone.

There has to be a threat of the deep ball because its football. The complaints arent that the game changed and I cant figure it out. The complaints are that on offense, there is exactly 1 way to win.....period.

90/90 WRs with +90 speed paired with a 85/88 QB cant get 1000 yards receiving in a season because they have nerfed the QB and long passing game to death so everybody has a chance to win in the new low scoring MFN.

I agree the game is incredible and I am not leaving anytime soon but as a league admin and just a owner that reads the forums, PEOPLE ARE LEAVING because the changes on offense are frustrating.

The changes were made in the name of realism but the results are far from real.

20 receivers catch over 1000 yards in 2018.

Go check whatever league you are in and find me recievers with 1000 yards or on pace for 1000 yards. About half the teams in the league should have one but they are gar and few between.

I have nothing against defense or running the ball, like I said, I can adjust to whatever they throw at me but we went from version 4.3 where you could air it out and put up hugh passing numbers to 4.5 where you have to play ball control, dink and dunk football.

I just won the League Championship in the NFL league. The long pass was so useless that I actually stopped using it altogether. Yes my play ratio was 0 long pass. Enough said.

I watched one my games, replaying most of the plays, my two best WRs have B&R Avoid in the 90s, their two best CBs had B&R Defense in the 90s, I think they won every matchup. All ties to go the defender? Our guys never beat them.

It’s getting tiring and sickening that outcomes of the games are now being relied on who has the most turnovers and who kicks the most field goals. It’s getting old quick.

It occurred to me while watching a game this morning and having witnessed defender track down after track down that I'm not seeing the breakaway, zoom to the endzone touchdowns any more.

Is it me or are these now going the way of the once upon a time Punt Return Touchdown which plagued the game? (pin a team to their own end zone, force 'em to punt and it'd result in you hitting a return touchdown)

Agreed. I have seen that too. There used to be a play where the WR, if open, could catch the ball and go 75 yards for a TD. That isn’t happening anymore. Now, CBs or Safeties (who are slower than the WR by the way) are somehow catching up to him and preventing the sure TD. It’s frustrating. So here we are with even more FGs than before.

The diagonal cut-off.

It's along the lines of what I've stated in a more private, league-based setting. It's not difficult to where they have the game now to keep an Eagle Eye on what crops up, red-flagging it for standing out in its effectiveness and thus reducing it as a result. :(

We need a 'Turn Back the Clock' to version 4.2 open-ness on offense coupled with v4.5 CB B & R, hand-fighting tactics as a neutralizer to balance out the offense, therefore, neither side is too over-powered.

IDK how much speed you need to take a correct angle of pursuit . Under old codes guys would over and under run pursuit . I am not seeing that anymore . I have alot of 50 Speed guys and they get beat in the flats, but Jdb is using physics to move players. I still wouldn't use a slow db unless I had too. They allow more catches and make less big plays .

Parabolic ratings changes has me wanting to look at 40 times again. Different guys seems faster than in older codes. Acceleration is playing a more realistic role...closer to default ratings in terms of value.

Alot has changed but that long pass nerf seems to be the big difference maker. Those drops could add alot yards , and it put qbs in longer senerios than needed . A qb could get 800 yards easy with that nerf out.

I like to see the blitz penalty loosened a bit as well. Still, if you can't easily target the first read any release with get feedback like this. Custom reads would help this, but its still too early imo

I had a WR beak away for a 96 yard TD catch in the last game. I don’t think they don’t exist anymore, but they are more rare.
