No Smirt, Punisher is right. Nobody should have complained about 4.4 making JDB rush 4.5.

We should still be playing version 4.4

The issue is that from after version 4.2 the push for the new version which became version 4.3 wasn't done with clean intentions. Had a mean-ness going in to halt offense and put in impediments. The barriers placed on offense turned out to be too over-powered and then there was a scramble effect/chasing of the tail i.e. versions 4.4 and 4.5 in succession to try and balance it out.

I dont know why I thought I had a right to my own opinion.

Im done with this thread. Im gonna let my betters figure it all out and go back to running my 2 full leagues and maybe win a few more Champiships.

Sorry if my thoughts or opinions negatively effected anyone either playing the game or creating the game.

Im gonna stick my head in the sand and think happy thoughts

At the end of 2018, I remember thinking I need to cut back because this game is addictive and I was acquiring a new team ever 2 or 3 weeks and I was spending too much time playing.

Now, less than 5 months later (and 3 game engines) I find myself processing out teams at the end of seasons because my interest is waning.

I am growing bored with this becoming a game of managing injuries, kicking field goals, and *hoping* penalties and turnover field position work in your favor.

But what's reall making me mad is the pyschic powers of Defensive Coordinators which kick-in sometime in the second half. Running on 1st down? They're run-keying. Passing on 1st down from the same formation? They're pass-keying. Runinng om 2nd and 10? They're run keying. Ignoring one of your Rules? Yeah, got that covered too.


that guy tripped. caught pass in full stride, held on and was ahead of his body until he fell forward. first down. happens in RL

Couple of recent comments from 1 year+ owners.....

"There have been some huge shifts in the game and I'm not adapting well. It's frustrating to have a general philosophy that was successful in 4.2, 4.3, and 4.4 then all of a sudden in 4.5 it's putrid. Not just less effective - but outright horrible (like less than 100 yards total offense & multiple TD-less games."

"I think this may be my last season as well. The game has become way too much about figuring out what the game version is doing and not about football. A lot of things that now dominate the game wouldn't work in real life football."
