Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I feel arm strength should have a great impact than it currently does, especially on deep and sideline throws. Far too many noodle armed QBs rocking all-long-throw offenses currently.

+1

In general, it should be noticeable when watching a game which is the QB with high ratings in accuracy/arm strength/vision/release/etc, and which is the one with low ratings.

I'm not talking about production. I'm talking about skill. You can have a strong arm and not be accurate (Jeff George), or be accurate with a weak arm (Danny Weurful), etc., or any combination and have both good and bad games.

I'm often surprised to see a player's skill ratings when I open his card during the game.

Not a pass to my TE IN two games and blitz reads are horrible....same goes for blocking blitzers on run plays. Also LBS should run backwards on run plays...one step back and read....

Not sure if anyone else noticed this. There is some issue with missed/broken tackles when passing to the RB out of the backfield. Defenders run straight through RB, not even slowing them down. Here are some examples from Week 2 preseason NYA v. PHI. Doesn't happen every time, but noticeable when it does.

Why would a lb step backwards on a run play? if steps backwards every play the team would run all over them.

Thing I noticed the most was breakaway tds after a catch. There was a lot of long tds. A lot of blown coverages and three plays the wr ran a streak and no one even close to him.

It looks like the defender loses his speed and wr gains some when he catches it.

Ive noticed LB's not reading the play and automatically running to their coverage spots on some plays. Even running clear across the field away from the play when the run was right at him. Here's a couple of examples that I noticed in the last game.

As far as QB play, in the 2 games so far I've seen an improvement with accuracy. They seemed to play closer to their accuracy rating when not under pressure. One of my QB's has a 64 accuracy rating and was missing about half the time, which is good. And they seem to be checking down when they can. (is that based on Intel and release?). I havent had a chance to go through and check the long/med passes vs arm strength in my games yet.

Just had a game and it seems like the CB just jogged upfield on a few plays.....This happened with both teams producing wide open TD's .....I'm unsure what to make of it on those plays.....I will post the links tomorrow sometime...

Just fyi, I have not yet pushed in the QB accuracy updates, long-term season testing now has QB's being way too powerful (5,000 yard seasons), so I'm still tweaking that.

I'm also looking for examples of zone coverage going wonky.

This play was a blitz man zone . The FS had cover one and shaded to the wrong side....both cover guys stink so I wasn't too displeased . The man guy played a short man zone even though he was in man. It looked busted but was the worst offender.

Also , my opponent played crowd middle all game and over use has my QBs dropping a 90 plus rating...I thought they should have found alot of short open guys quicker . A hand full of time four or five guys were wide open and both QBs ignored them.

Generally there is too much pressure from the middle. **** pass rushers getting there too often and only blitzes getting sacks or creating pressure .

Still, poor reads in the run game and pass game for LBS . Goaline defense has so many holes that I am not sure if it is worth using as outside runs are a bit better now with db's sitting a bit more.

If I can get my Roster changes to work I will try my RB/QB with no accuracy . ...as blitz reads still look slow and random. Still, it seems way better but a 3-3-5 or and 3 down linemen set might be the way to go under this code that favors **** DTs, and pins down fast strong smaller linemen. So they can run a bit before being tangled up in the line.

99 speed 99 strength 99 pass rush equates to 3 tackles . ...that it ? No sacks no pressures? But a **** 87 strength 56 pass rush 17 speed gets 2 sacks and some pressures ? Please stop this and go back as the sideline sack is still prevelent .

Let qbs run more....and have them get tackled by line men and line backers

This isn't zone coverage but what happened to #41 here?

Did he trip himself up? He should have been able to keep up with Abron considering his 97 speed. Looks like he just sits there until Abron flies past him before attempting to chase him down
