Just noticed the game of the week too....Not sure what its based on but I see a better game this week between New Orleans @ Green Bay

It's just the game with the lowest point spread.

Game of the Week
0-6 vs 1-5

This title needs to be changed to "Lowest Point Spread of the Week" if that's all it is.

I don't care what the line is, I would never consider the Browns vs (insert any team) to be the game of the week.

Gee thanks. :P

Besides, CLE / PIT wound out being a pretty good game!

Part of the reason I'm doing it the way I am is so that everyone gets a reasonable chance to have their team be in the game of the week. I feel like it would add to the discouragement of owners who aren't doing well when only the good teams get little things like that, it's just one more thing that you miss out on.

I'm going to also start working on the weekly/yearly/all-time player awards shortly after the release of 0.4.1 for the same reason - little things that highlight owners who otherwise are not really noticed.

Just a strange play I noticed in my game against San Fran. The pursuit taken by my defense to the ball carrier is quite peculiar.

Almost seems as if every player chasing the ball carrier took the exact same route, curving out of bounds and then back in

Not sure if this is something being addressed or not, but here is another one of those plays where the defenders have plenty of speed to catch up to the ball carrier only to be held back by the invisible force field.

SP and tackling don't matter for defenders...

Unless, of course, the player has 100 SP and then he'll be a god amongst men because of the stupid 100 SP bonus even if his other attributes are ****

And on the desperation play to take the lead, tackling? https://mfn1.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/6246#1126306

This game shows how bad tackling is on the game. Players take BAD pursuit angles on almost every play. And when they hit a ball carrier, it's hard to bring the player actually down.

There were actually a lot of examples in this game of the problems with v.0.4 that are still there in v.0.4.1. There were way too many drops by wide open WRs. Defenders reacting too slowly to ball carriers (running to the spot where the player was rather than where is moving).

It also exposes some fun exploits with v.0.4.1. Apparently, passing to the RB will just destroy teams when v.0.4.1 is released. My RB is my second leading receiver despite catching only 41 passes, all of which came out of the backfield.
