i dont take winning and losing in this league very seriously. My main objective is to try things out for a while to see if I can find anything in the sim and report it. That is if someone hasn't reported it already. Which you guys are on top of things most of the time.

So if someone does something out of the ordinary here, I take it that they are trying things out as well for the good of the game. I really dont see a need to get upset over that stuff here. Other leagues?...............Game on. Hopefully we can find stuff here to make our competitive leagues better.

It's all good man, New Jersey didn't seem to be getting upset but rather asking a completely relevant question being that this is the test league. Smirt on the other hand feels a need to endlessly whine about the sim and has a hard on for me because I keep beating him in the playoffs across multiple leagues. He's not even in this league, it's quite sad really how obsessed he is with me in this game, do you think it would help if I told him I'm just not that into him?

Not true. Offensively, yes. Defensively this pattern is new and quite obviously adopted from watching you.

Why don't you **** off, Lellow. Yes, beating me with this short cut cheating style of play where you've been seasons ahead of people learning a few blitzes and ramming it down our throats. Trust, I don't think I'm the only one whom has noticed your passive aggressive arrogance all across these boards, either, created from this contrived 'success.'

Also, to provide a backdrop for my utter disdain for this style of play....

My adoption to this game was in League 71 where in my first season ever in the sim I won every game except for the 3 (2 in regular season, 1 in the postseason) I went up against Drogers whom employed a 2 defensive playbook of those lovely CB3 blitzes. The two titans, we all know which ones they are. He'd branch out a little since, however, to constantly be defeated through a trick shot style of play has infuriated me and thus you've been the beneficiary of that anger. I actually think Drogers is a bigger cheater than you are but thankfully he is only in a selective amount of leagues while you're in a wide spectrum.

A reminder for folks, this is a test league. So stuff will change over time here, sometimes improve sometimes not. The point of joining the test league is to see what the latest stuff might be and have a greater voice in developmental process. Yeah there are things that JDB recognizes along with everyone else that does not work here. Please remember though, its only 1 person working on this who does not even do this full time, give some time and patience for things to get corrected.

Is there something in the terms of service on using certain plays? No? Then it's not cheating to use a blitz heavy playbook. If you honestly believe that the top owners are only winning because they are relying heavily on blitz based defenses then you're even dumber than you sound. The same owners that are winning now would win in any iteration of the sim because they put in the time and are smart enough with the game mechanics to adjust. Do I call a heavy percentage of blitz based plays? Yup, and it's not necessarily just one or two like you like to try to imply. Over the last 8 games I have used Cover 2 Man Under (even though the zone defense is far from ideal) more than anything else. Clearly the only reason I finished with the best record in the league is because I only ran 1 or 2 blitz plays... /s.

https://mfn24.myfootballnow.com/team/view/4 - ran almost exclusively cover 1 defenses over the 19 game schedule, WLB/MLB blitz was the 5th most called play, double LB blitz the 7th, clearly running a 1 or 2 play defense is what made my team successful /s

Anyway, this forum is for constructive discussion on the state of the sim in this BETA league. Not a place for you to come and cry because you can't find a way to beat certain owners and you somehow are delusional enough to think that a change in the sim is going to be the thing that allows you to beat those owners.

So unless you actually have something constructive to post instead of trying to throw shade at other owners because you can't beat them or don't like them, then perhaps you should crawl back into your hole.

I don't see how Punisher's offense is anyway similar to Lellow. Lellow defaults most of the time (I haven't checked this league) to a lot of 014 set passes with a sprinkling of 113. Punisher's system is the same one he's been running in 19 that calls nothing but play action and running plays. It's an interesting approach because either way the defense keys, they have a 50% chance of losing big. I think he could tweak it and make it more effective, but he made the playoffs in both leagues with it. Give Punisher some credit on this one.

Full disclosure: I considered creating an offense that does exactly what punisher is doing right now. Watching the success he has had is making me consider it again. I just wish there were more PA passes.
